Austin, Texas — In a casual new video message, Elon Musk gave fans a rare personal glimpse into his approach to health and fitness.
“Hey everyone, it’s Elon,” the Tesla and SpaceX CEO began. “I lift weights and do some martial arts like Jiu-Jitsu. I don’t love running, but I train to stay strong. Family and fitness both matter.”
Musk, known for his demanding work schedule, explained that he focuses on strength training and martial arts rather than cardio. The 54-year-old billionaire has previously shared that he has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, along with judo, karate, and taekwondo in the past.
While Musk admitted he isn’t a big fan of running, he continues to exercise regularly to maintain his strength and energy for his multiple companies.
He ended the short message by saying, “Family and fitness both matter,” highlighting the balance he tries to keep between his personal life and demanding career.
The video has already sparked interest among fans, many of whom are curious about how the world’s richest man stays fit despite working 80–100 hours a week.
